How To Use AAR Car Type Codes in Railcar Management System (RMS)
This brief article explains how AAR Car Type Codes can be used in Railcar Management System (RMS).
Step 1. Update one or more railcar records with the appropriate AAR Car Type Code.
Step 2. Clone a Daily Report such as Last Sighting by Destination then add the AARType field to display on the report.
Step 3. Set the Advanced Filter to AARType = T106.
Step 4. Click the Save and View Report button.
After the report is created, it can be scheduled and emailed to recipients in various file formats such as PDF, RTF, XLS, CSV, or HTML. For more detailed instructions on any of these steps, please refer to the User Manual.
